building an urban garden

i invited three of my former students over--xinying and xuejin (who have helped me plant all three years!) and zhijun......we planted over 50 tomatoes and 100 peppers, as well as butternut squash, broccoli, lettuce, cauliflower, celery, cilantro, onions, and garlic. i still need to plant some herbs and my basil, but thanks to the three of them, the garden planting is 90% done. yay!

after we were done planting, i made 2# of spaghetti and the four of us ate all of it. ha ha!
